Last Updated: September 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, online forms, text messaging services, email communications, and other digital services provided by First Baptist Church Seagoville (“FBC Seagoville,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Our website is https://fbcseagoville.org.
By using our website, submitting an online form, registering for an event, planning a visit, or opting in to receive communications from FBC Seagoville, you agree to these Terms as they apply to the service you are using.
Church Information and Digital Services
FBC Seagoville provides online information and communication services to help people learn about and participate in the church’s ministries. These services may include worship and event information, Plan Your Visit forms, prayer requests, ministry registrations, volunteer opportunities, email communications, text messages, and other church-related resources.
Information provided through our website and communications is intended for general church and ministry purposes and may be updated or changed without notice.
Plan Your Visit
FBC Seagoville may offer a Plan Your Visit service through our website, Facebook, Instagram, or other online platforms.
When you submit a Plan Your Visit form, you may provide information such as your name, mobile phone number, email address, intended visit date, and approximate number of people attending with you.
We use this information to help prepare for your visit, answer questions, provide relevant information, and follow up with you regarding your request.
Submitting a Plan Your Visit form does not obligate you to attend FBC Seagoville, become a member, make a donation, participate in a ministry, or make any other commitment to the church.
Text Messaging Terms
When you provide your mobile number and affirmatively opt in to receive text messages from FBC Seagoville, you agree to receive informational text messages related to the communication for which you subscribed.
Messages may include information such as planned-visit confirmations and reminders, church announcements, ministry updates, event information, prayer-related communications, or other church information for which you have requested or authorized communication.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of attending the church, participating in church activities, making a donation, or receiving ministry services.
FBC Seagoville currently uses Clearstream to help provide text messaging services.
Opting Out of Text Messages
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message from FBC Seagoville or text STOP to (972) 287-2284.
Other recognized opt-out terms may include QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. Clearstream also processes these standard opt-out requests automatically.
After opting out, you will no longer receive routine text messages through the texting account from which you opted out, except where a limited confirmation or legally required message may be necessary.
If you later wish to receive messages again, you may be required to complete a new opt-in process.
